Waterfalls are ones of the popular tourist attractions in Chiang Mai. They’re perfect places to go and spend some nice time with friends and family, as they consist of beautiful natural surroundings.
Mae Ya Waterfall is located in Doi Inthanon National Park. Now, you may be able to imagine how gorgeous the waterfall is, as Doi Inthanon National Park itself is already stunning and full of greenery. Therefore Mae Ya Waterfall must show no difference. There are many waterfalls in Doi Inthanon, but Mae Ya is known to be the biggest one. And not only the biggest waterfall of the national park, in fact, but it is also one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Thailand. Mae Ya Waterfall is a 30-storied cliff, which makes it so stunning!
The water flows from over-200-metred height all the time. There are some spots of the cliff that tourists can walk into, in case they want to get close to the water sprinkle, which looks like a light and white curtain. Of course, there are admission fees for the place: 20 Baht for a Thai child, 50 Baht for a Thai adult, 100 Baht for a foreign child, and 200 Baht for a foreign adult.
